RB Leipzig and Bayer Leverkusen are into the second round of the German Cup as their new coaches Martín Demichelis and Carles Martínez easily won their first competitive games in charge on Saturday. Ex-Argentina and Bayern Munich defender Demichelis, who has replaced Ole Werner as boss despite Werner securing third in the Bundesliga last term, saw his side coast past fourth-division Eintracht Trier 6-0 away.
