Bayer Leverkusen are into the second round of the German Cup as coach Carles Martínez made his official debut with a 4-0 win against third-division side Wehen Wiesbaden on Saturday. There were also first-round wins for fellow Bundesliga sides Augsburg, Hoffenheim, Elversberg and Werder Bremen, whose new loan signing Niclas Füllkrug scored from the spot on his return to the club.
